Anonymous orders

07/04/2008

Web-to-print orders placed by unregistered users go under user IDs and the real identity of the user may never be known. There are 2 ways to claim these orders.

Claimed by users

Unregistered user can register after placing an order. All anonymous web-to-print orders by that user will be transfered to the newly created web-to-print account.

The unregistered user can log in if the order was placed while the user was logged off (the user had login and password, but wasn’t logged in at the time of ordering and the order was placed as from an unregistered user). All anonymous web-to-print orders by that user will be transfered to the newly created account.

Claimed by printer

Anonymous orders can be assigned to registered or new users by the holder of printer account.

Go to the order details. Click on Assign to user link next to the user ID. Enter user email in the new window. Click Save. All orders placed under that ID will be assigned to the email address you entered. If the address is not registered the system will create a new user and dispatch a confirmation email.
