Products (templates) can be marked as featured to promote them on top all the other items.

Featured option

Go to Edit template page and check on Featured check box. Press Save.

Top of the catalog

Featured templates show at the top of the catalog ahead of the other templates. They are sorted alphabetically and have a larger heading in a different color.

Upselling

Featured templates show as suggestions on order details pages.
Example:
A user orders Product A and gets the order details screen. A random featured product from the same catalog as Product A will show in the top right corner as a suggestion, but only if the user has not ordered that product before. No upselling will take place once the user orders all featured products from the catalog.

Making all templates featured

The more featured templates are in a catalog the less they stand out from the rest. It makes sense to have no more than 5.
