Open Object Manager docker (Window/Dockers/Object Manager), find the image in the list of objects, click on it, hold for a second and type in the name for it. E.g. Your Photo.

/

After uploading the template in your catalog, the input form will contain a field for images that users can fill with their own photos as a replacement for the image placeholder.

Image quality

Uploaded images are converted into the same color space as the the placeholder. Images with excessive resolution are downsampled to the resolution of the placeholder. Make sure your placeholders have the right parameters.

To achieve this you need to select your image placeholder, go to Bitmaps/Mode and change the parameters. It can also be done through Bitmaps/Convert to Bitmap menu.

Note. User uploaded images are never stretched or inflated to fit the image placeholder. If the user inputs an image that is smaller than the recommended size, they see a warning.

Image Rotation

/

If you set a rotation angle to the image placeholder in CorelDraw, the uploaded image is rotated to that same angle.

Colour picker

The image placeholder can also have a color picker assigned to it that replaces the placeholder image with a solid fill of a selected colour.

Web-to-print add a color picker option/

To add a color picker option to a variable image field, go to the Images page of the template and assign the desired color picker settings in the Field settings section.
