Menu sub-categories
March 29th, 2008Large number of templates in a single catalog make the menu unreadable because there are too many of them. Use keywords as menu categories to replace the list of templates and aid navigation.
Categories page
First, you need to tag all templates in the catalog with keywords (categories).
Go to Categories page of the catalog. The keywords will show under Other keywords. Choose those you want to show in the menu and press Save.
Selected categories can be removed by unchecking and pressing Save.
Orphaned templates
Make sure you do not leave any templates untagged. They won’t be displayed via menu categories. An automated consistency checker will be added at a later date.
