A web-to-print order can be saved prior to completion and a proof PDF is generated for the customer if “create PDF for review with saved orders” option is enabled for that template.

Warning: web-to-print orders saved with a proof PDF are billable regardless of any other conditions.

Enable PDF proofs

PDF proofs can be enabled for any web-to-print template regardless of other file generation settings.

Go to Template details / Edit template and check on “create PDF for review with saved orders“ under Output files/Order generation options.

This option is also available through bulk-editing of template details.

View PDF proofs

When a web-to-print order is saved a PDF file is generated and is available to users for downloading from Order details or List of orders pages.

The PDF file is only generated if this option was enabled for the template.

The purpose of the web-to-print proofing file is to give customers an opportunity to download it, share with someone else or review it offline. It is generated using the preview template and retains the watermark.

The quality of the images is set to 96dpi, all text is converted to curves, native color space is used, no cropmarks, no bleed.
