Watermarks
The watermark is a widely used protection method by designers. You can add a text, image or any kind of shaped watermark to your templates to protect them from being used without permission.
A sample CDR file can be downloaded from your Sample Stationery catalog (go to Summary page).
Example
You can add a watermark to your template that will only be visible in the previews without creating both preview and print templates.

/
To achieve this you need to place the watermark (text, image or shape) in the Desktop Layer of the Master Page.

Note. If the object that contains the watermark is outside the page, it will jump to the top page layer after you move it inside the page. To fix this, just drag-and-drop it on top of the Desktop layer.

/
For the watermark to appear on top of all the pages in the previews you must check ON the Printer icon of the Desktop layer.
Web-to-print software processing
As long as the watermark object is placed inside the Desktop layer of the Master Page it will:
- show on top of all other layers on every page
- show only on previews
- never show in the output files (CDR, PDF, JPEG, GIF, PNG)
