A dataset is like a small database attached to a template. It contains values for text fields your customers can choose from. Our web-to-print extension for Magento supports datasets.

A template that has a dataset attached, will have a “Database look-up” button at the top of the input form.

Just like in the web-to-print portal, the dataset values are shown in a interactive table.

According to the datasets enforcement settings at the web-to-print portal side, customers can be allowed to click on individual cells to combine values and input their own texts manually or they can be restricted to pick entire row of values only, without being able to input data manually.
